Finance Manager

  • Accounting Operations:
  • – Oversee and ensure proficiency and effectiveness in day-to-day accounting operations including billing, bank, cash transactions; check and initial all payment vouchers.
  • – Perform monthly bookkeeping closing including checking the work performed by Accountants and sign off general journal entry.
  • – Prepare monthly financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, reconciliation) and Activity Based Costing (“ABC”) report and provide analysis for management review.
  • – Check and ensure timeline submission of periodic reports related to taxation (VAT, PIT, CIT, FCWT, audited financial statement and all other kinds of taxes) and statutory compliance (DPI, Statistic).
  • – Assist in controlling budget vs. actual expenses and ensure the company operates within the approved budget.
  • – Work with the audit agency to complete the annual audit report by a given deadline.
  • – Assist in implementing accounting, financial policies, accounting software and internal control procedures to comply with prevailing statutory and corporate requirements.
  • – Provide accounting data to management when required.
  • – Ensure the accounting documents (soft copies and hard copies) are arranged and filed in a safe and confidential way.
  • – Review and sign off different kinds of contracts with vendors, business partners and other business related parties.
  • Training:
  • – Propose an annual staff plan and do the first interview to hire accounting staff.
  • – Manage, train and develop accounting staff in order to ensure responsibilities had performed competently.
  • – Execute approved finance and accounting policies and guidelines.
  • – Update new legal and accounting regulations to relevant team members.
  • – Provide orientation and training to new staff based on their titles (contract review process, payment policy…).
  • Management:
  • – Recommend and suggest resolutions to improve current accounting activities and procedures.
  • – Join cross functional projects (if any) to apply new changes (system, product).
  • – Work with other managers in reviewing and building up the accounting process.
  • – Support to implement reports relating to control expenses.
  • – Forecast revenue and expenses, cash flow then present recommendations to the high management team for short-term and long-term strategy decision making.
  • – Present monthly ABC report to high level management team with insightful analysis.
  • – Draft slides for quarterly board meeting.
  • – Manage budget preparation process and prepare the annual budget.
  • – Overall the accounting and legal works of the parent company.
  • – Perform other finance and accounting tasks assigned by the Direct Supervisor.
  • – 7+years of experience in Finance and Accounting with proven experience of team management and training in international companies.
  • – A Bachelor Degree or higher in Finance or Accounting related major.
  • – Good command of English both written and spoken.
  • – Familiarity with MISA software.
  • – Good knowledge of all the latest accounting laws and procedures.
  • – Flexibility to change.
  • – A sense of reliability, responsibility, confidence and integrity.
  • – Strong attention to detail, organization skills, management skills, critical and analytical thinking, communication skills, negotiating, problem solving skills.
  • – Strong leadership to lead and motivate the team.
